★★★★★★★★★★4.8 · 337 reviews · 2 - 2.5 hours · from $31Our pick

Rooftop views, secret passages, and artisan workshops in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, with guided stories that bring 600 years to life.

“Mertcan, our guide, took us (only 2 of us on the tour) to all the non- touristy areas of the Grand Bazaar, from rooftops to artisan working spaces to secret shops. He gave us a lot of the history of the bazaar which was fascinating. We met interesting artisan/shop owners and had tea with one of them. I was not looking to shop and our guide and the shop owners respected that, there was no hard sell to buy anything. Overall a fantastic experience that I recommend wholeheartedly!”
